汪国平,深圳大学特聘教授,深圳市国家级领军人才,广东省优粤人才;四川大学博士,大阪大学博士后。曾先后多次赴香港科技大学、东京工业大学、南洋理工大学任访问学者。国家杰出青年基金获得者,享受国务院特殊津贴,入选教育部新世纪优秀人才计划;曾获国家自然科学二等奖、湖北省自然科学一等奖、国家级优秀教学成果二等奖、湖北省优秀教学成果一等奖、教育部首届全国高校优秀骨干教师奖等多项奖励;任国家自然科学基金委信息科学部专家评审组成员、Electronics Letters 中文版编委。曾任武汉大学二级教授、珞珈学者特聘教授。指导的博士生分别获得2009和2010年度全国优秀博士论文提名奖。主持国家杰出青年基金、国家重大科学研究计划项目课题、国家自然科学基金重点项目等20余项。在光学超材料、光学超分辨成像与传感、纳米光子学等前沿领域发表包括 Nature Communications、Physical Review Letters、Physical Review Applied、Applied Physics Letters、Optics Letters、ACS Nano、Nano Letters、Light: Science & Applications 等论文120余篇,合著英文专著 Plasmonic Nanoguides and Circuits 一部。研究成果被包括 Nobel 奖获得者在内的国际知名科学家在 Nature、Science、Reviews of Modern Physics、Physics Reports 等综述和研究论文上正面评价和引用,或被选为最好的论文、研究亮点、期刊封面、研究新闻报道,或被评价为重大进展、开创性工作。目前,汪国平教授研究领域主要涉及人工微结构光电材料与器件、纳米光子器件、光学超分辨成像和微纳结构的超快动力学。
Guo Ping Wang, Distinguished Professor, Laboratory Director, National Leading Scientist of Shenzhen, and High-level Talent of Guangdong Province, was rewarded the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Distinguished Young Scholars, the State Council Special Allowance, and supported by the Program for New Century Excellent Talents of Ministry of Education of the P. R. China. Dr. Wang acquired his Ph.D. degree at Sichuan University and furthered his research as a postdoctoral fellow at Osaka University and as visiting scholars at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and Nanyang Technological University. After that, Dr. Wang worked in Wuhan University as the second rank professor and the distinguished professor with Luojia scholar. For the excellent work, Dr. Wang was rewarded numerous awards, including the second class of the State Natural Science Award, the first class of the Hubei Natural Science Award, the second class of National Excellent Education Achievement Award, the first class of Hubei Excellent Education Achievements Award, and the first session of the Excellent University Key Teacher Award of Ministry of Education of the P. R. China. Dr. Wang has successfully hosted more than 20 scientific research projects, including National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars, National Important Scientific Research Project, and Key Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China. Recently, Dr. Wang's research fields mainly involve artificial microstructure optoelectronic materials and devices, nanophotonic devices, optical super-resolution imaging, and ultrafast dynamics of micro-nano structures.
